As part of its content commerce strategy, the leading platform for horizontal e-commerce Meesho has introduced a creator marketplace with three main pillars to provide immersive and interactive shopping experiences at scale.

With real-time performance metrics, quicker reimbursements, and direct cooperation opportunities, Meesho Creator Club is a specialized in-house affiliate network that supports influencers of all sizes, including those from tier 3 and tier 4 cities.

Meesho claims that their creative marketplace Video Finds allows users to easily explore and shop through immersive content by hosting brief, captivating product films right on the Meesho app. These films feature clickable products that let viewers shop right away without ever leaving the content.

Live Shop is an interactive, real-time session where influencers and sellers display products, respond to questions, and generate immediate sales.

By collaborating with creators who genuinely connect with the varied lifestyles of its 187 million transacting customers annually, Meesho hopes to revolutionize e-commerce. In addition to improving product discovery, this strategy promotes greater customer involvement and trust.

With a customized experience tailored for the Indian market, Meesho claims that its content commerce project has successfully bridged the gap between storytelling and purchasing, reaching over 14.5 million people in its first year of operation.

Through content commerce, Meesho's order volume increased thrice between January and December 2024. Through its partnerships with more than 21,000 creators, it has increased engagement throughout India.

Meesho intends to broaden the Creator Club by bringing on a variety of creators, making sure the initiative appeals to both micro & nano-influencers and also larger content creators.
